How do I purchase the software?
You can make a payment using PayPal or from 2Checkout.

How do I receive the software?
If you purchase using PayPal the software will be emailed to you instantly in Zip format on successful purchase, if you purchase from 2Checkout we will send you an email manually with the software.

If a subscriber cancels how do I turn off their account?

MembersPro PayPal will automatically turn off their account. Note that although a member may unsubscribe they may still have a period of time left as an active member. If a member cancels their subscription they may still be an active member for the subscription period that they have paid for e.g. If a member subscribes for a year and then cancels after 10 months, they will still be an active member for another 2 months.

Will the customer need to have a PayPal account to join my new membership site?
No. You can offer free membership options and you can also offer a one time payment option which allows users to pay through PayPal without signing up for an account. For a membership option that requires recurring payments then the customer must have a PayPal account.

Does MembersPro PayPal run on a Unix Server?
No.

Will MembersPro PayPal work on a Linux Server?
No.

I get this error when I try and run the software?

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.

In order to use Microsoft Access through ASP, you must give the file/folder write permissions if you wish to update the database.
The anonymous IIS user must have WRITE permission to the Access file. (.mdb)
To set this permission:
1. In windows explorer, browse to and open the “members” folder.
2. Right click on the folder containing the Access file.
3. Click on properties.
4. Click the "Security" tab.
5. Click "Add".
6. Add the "Internet Guest Account".
7. Make sure "Read", and "Write" are all checked for this user.

What email components are supported by MembersPro PayPal?
Email components - CDONTS, CDOSYS, JMail, ASPMail (Can be modified to support other components upon request)

I get the following error:

Make sure the file path to the database in the file 'includes/sconnstring.asp' is correct. If you do not know the physical path to the database then please ask your hosting company.

I get the following error:
"Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

/members/includes/email.asp, line 76
800401f3"

You MUST configure your email settings in the administration area under the heading 'settings.asp'.

The new subscriber isn't activated in the database and he/she doesn't receive a confirmation email?
Make sure your visitors know that they must signup with the same email and pay through PayPal with the same email for their account to be activated.

Make sure that the PayPal email you set in the admin area is the same as your primary PayPal email.

Also make sure IPN is enabled in your PayPal account.
