What We’ve Been Up To Recently
This month has been a particularly busy & exciting month. There’s rarely a chance to catch your breath @ Codefixer.
After a bit of a slog, though it’s always worth it when it turns out well, the new Juris Resolution website is up and running. A small specialised team worked on the project and did an excellent job. Now for the fun but equally hard bit of marketing it online.
For those of you that want to avoid costly legal bills then Juris Resolutions and it’s mediation and arbitration services might be worth a try.
Having worked on a couple of new sites, getting the sites indexed and just ranking for their brand quickly can be tricky enough. With new sites that don’t rank in Google, bidding on their brand in AdWords to cover the gap can be ridiculously dear. Though the cost per click settles down fast when the CTR metrics kick in, there does appear to be an oversight here, and something Google should look at.
Another site that we’ve been working on has thrown up a number of local Google My Business headaches. The JMCM group has rebranded as Ancore. This has caused all sorts of problems with Google My Business.
After many pin numbers and support calls, this looks to be on the right track. In local SEO today, GMB is paramount. On a mobile the GMB listing is the first that a user will see and is increasingly important. When it goes swimmingly it’s great, when it doesn’t and there is old conflicting data, such as old wrong addresses then there’s a lot of patience & effort needed.
Talking of good news, we’ve a new intern started. Hussein, who finished college with more marketing degrees than anyone needs, has joined the small team here at Codefixer. Now it’s time for a bit of real world work experience and hard work!
